This is the 6th year for Vital Signs to be a part of the LibertyFest parade in downtown Edmond on the 4th of July.  The theme for the parade this year was "Happy Birthday America" and we decided to celebrate by designing an 11ft tall cake.  The shell was made out of plywood and coro sheets with digital prints placed over the top.  The parade had a great turn out this year, due to the cooler weather on the 4th.  We kept hearing a lot of positive comments from the crowd about our float as we went around the parade route.  And when it came time for the awards ceremony, we were excited to walk away with the American Patriots award in the commercial floats category!
